#23: How to Launch Your First Health Coaching Offer

Listen on:

I remember being in health coaching school and getting the green light to start seeing clients.

I was chomping at the bit to put my training into practice. At the time I remember a strong desire to prove to myself (and my family) that I could make a living as a health coach.

Lo and behold I did it!

By the time I graduated from health coaching school I had 10 paying clients – making enough to cover my tuition. Then two months after graduating, I took the big leap and left my full-time job.

It was an exciting time, but also a bit daunting – because I wasn’t exactly sure how to keep the flow of clients coming in.

Through a lot of trial and error I figured out what worked… and what was a waste of my time.

While a lot has changed since 2006 when I started health coaching, I am still surprised to find what worked best for me 17 years ago still works today.

If you’re looking to enroll private clients or fill a course or group program – you may be wondering how to go about it.

You don’t need a website or social media, but you do need a way to get in front of your ideal clients. I share how to do this in this podcast episode How to Launch Your First Health Coaching Offer.

In the episode, you’ll learn:

  • One thing you can do every week to really move the needle in your business (that takes less than an hour)
  • How to use simple market research to determine the best places to get the word out about your offerings
  • Why programs like a “sugar challenge” are difficult to sell
  • The best way to use Facebook Groups to attract clients

This episode is an excerpt from a free coaching call I recently hosted with my community.

Listen in as I coach Yolanda, a new coach looking to launch her first health coaching offer, and learn how you can start enrolling people into private coaching or a short group program.
