3 Ways To Promote Your Upcoming Program

Top 3 Ways To Promote Your Next Launch | Marketing For Health Coaches

You have a program coming up and you want it to sell! You may find yourself getting a bit overwhelmed with all the possible ways to promote your program.

There are only so many hours in the day. So if you’re like me, you want to be sure that the time and energy you spend promoting will have the highest ROI (return on investment) possible. We want to work smarter, not harder, right?

These are the 3 most powerful ways to promote your program.

1. Email Your List

If you have an email list of subscribers, it’s full of people that have raised their hand and said “Yes! I want to hear from you!” so this is the best place to start.

Your email list is a captive audience of folks that love your stuff, so it makes sense that they are going to be the most likely to purchase your program.

The best way to share information about your upcoming program to your email list is through a strategic email series. You want to build excitement, provide valuable information, and entice them to buy.

Sounds tricky – but I have a formula for you!

  • Email #1 – announce your program and get your audience excited with a time sensitive offer
  • Email #2 – Get into the details of what makes your program unique. Be sure to highlight WHY they are going to get results with you.
  • Email #3 – Answer common questions and objections
  • Email #4 – Share a client success story
  • Email #5 – Give an inside look and provide a bit of material from your course so they can see the value in your content
  • Email #6 – Last call reminder!

This post goes into much greater detail about setting up your perfect launch email series schedule.

2. Give Talks or Webinars

I know you’ve probably heard me say this before, but speaking gigs are one of the best ways to get in front of both your existing audience, and reach new people!

Talks tend to convert at a much higher rate than any other form of promotion.

When you give a live talk or webinar, you’re going to give away a lot of valuable information and immediately start building trust with your audience. Even if they’ve only heard of you once before, a webinar accelerates the know, like, and trust factor needed to make a sale.

Setting up talks and webinars is time intensive, but it can pay off in spades!

3. Use Referral Partners or an Affiliate Program

Not many strategies have a higher payoff on your time than getting other people to do the work for you! Setting up a referral or affiliate program will have your people sharing your program with a much larger audience than you could reach on your own.

With some up front work, you can create an affiliate program that pays out partners, past clients, friends and advocates a percentage of your sales when they refer someone.

If you feel hesitant to give away a cut of your income, I totally get it. I used to feel the same way. But remember, without the referral you likely wouldn’t have made the sale at all.

In last week’s post, I went into more detail on this strategy – including who to ask and how to go about getting your referral program set up.

I know you want the biggest bang for your buck. Focusing on one or two of these major marketing tactics will help keep you on track for a successful launch and give you a high return on your time investment.
