THE EXACT SCRIPT I USE TO BOOK DISCOVERY CALLS

When you give your next talk or webinar, start with the END goal in mind.

This means, as you start planning, be clear about what you want to happen at the end of the talk/webinar.

Let’s say you want to get a few new clients. (If you have a different goal, that’s cool too.)

Here’s how you can make this happen…

At the end of your talk, make a compelling invitation.

If you want more private coaching clients, invite your audience into a discovery call or breakthrough session.

If you want more participants in a group program, invite your audience into your program.

It sounds obvious, but it’s easy to get this wrong, and I want your next talk to be a huge success.

Here’s a sample script you can use if you’re inviting your audience into a discovery call or breakthrough session:

“I know that if you implement just ONE piece that we talked about today, you will see immediate results.

When I work with clients, we go much deeper than I was able to today.

Earlier, I promised that I’d share how you can take this even FURTHER.

So, if what we talked about today resonates with you and you are ready to go deeper, I have a special invitation for you.

I want to invite you to a free strategy session with me.

In this session we will look at what you’re doing now, what’s working and what’s not working, and recommendations for next steps.

I have a limited # of spots reserved over the next 2 weeks, so if this is something you’re interested in I encourage you to sign up for a spot on the clipboard I’m passing around.

You may have had trouble making changes in the past, and I want to show you that this time can be different – especially if you have someone to encourage you, support you, and show you what to do step-by-step. I don’t want anything to get in your way.”

This example was for an in-person talk. If you’re giving a webinar, you would tell them to look out for an email you’ll be sending out later that day with a link to schedule.
